The GTAStunting Youtube Channel

Grettings people of the forum!
As some of you may have noticed recently there has been a few uploads to the GTAStunting youtube channel.

This might seem like a recently retrieved thing, but truth be told I have had access to this channel for close to 10 years when looking at the dates. Back then, the channel was sitting on two strikes, and a third one would terminate the channel. So I left it alone, not wanting to be the cause for its deletion. However, since then the strikes have been removed (I think they lasted for 3 years). And it seems like these days, more often than not, singular videos are claimed, rather than the entire channel being striked. So it is a bit safer to start uploading again.

Ever since Colony was uploaded I have had a few people contact me asking for their videos to be uploaded. And truth be told I do not want to be the singular decider of what goes on the channel or not. But I also do not particularly think any and all videos posted on the forum should be uploaded either. So that is why I am here, to get an idea of how different people feel about what should and should not go on the channel.

I am adding a poll to this with a few general ideas/suggestions, but please if you have other ideas of how this can/should be handled, please leave a reply as I am open to any suggestions.

When we think of the name "GTAStunting.net" the first and only thing comes to mind is "community".  So the stuff uploaded to the channel should show what this community does as a whole, which is public collabs. Whether official maps or not, it should be for something we did together. That is for main uploads.

We can always do YT shorts for individuals stunting. (E.g easy challenges)

I'm strictly against uploading solos to YT channel. Forum portal page is great for featuring these.

I voted for public collabs only, I think the best part of GTAS are the videos where everyone in the community can participate in and solos are too personal.

Good point, but following the previous years upload genre there are community videos, crew videos, soloes (Halcyon being the most recent) and public collabs so the variety is big. Only thing there isn't are un-official map mod videos SAiVC and United being exception.

Most likely my vote goes to all videos or case by case based, however that is decided I don't know. :ninja:

I think this should be decided case by case. If It was 10+ years ago, i would vote for having only community videos uploaded but we have so many few videos per year now. Some solo videos and collabs should be uploaded there, like Halcyon was.

I think it's worth uploading all the collabs (they don't come out that often these days), community videos and really good solo videos like DeathCobra,s and Barney,s for example.

My vote went toward ''case-by-case'' on account of wishing to display a miscellany of content that isn't necessarily homogenous in its nature [only long form / only quick and easy to consume, etc] in an effort to provide the internet with a broader scope of our community given we're not profit-driven as a community [and hence, not tethered by the monitization aspect and not encumbered by the exposure algorithm as a factor to consider].

This voting restricts the choices a bit I think. Community videos for sure, but grand public collabs and crew videos also for me. The rest should be case by case imo, but everything on the original GTA maps, (without Aliencity and such).
Dividing the videos by playlists would be nice also.  :P

There are too few videos now. I think any map, as long as the quality is high enough, or a large collaboration, should be uploaded (of course, videos like gravity mods must be excluded)

Truth be told, those are two truths that you have told.
