Modding is a term given to any game alteration that enables a stunt to be done that could not be done without it.

Spawner's tend to be fine, so long as it is plausible that all of the vehicles could arrive at the place at which they were spawned.  You are not the first person to stretch the boundaries of what is generally considered OK, and nor will you be the last.  In his last video, Morton, a well known and respected stunter, spawned packers inside of objects in order to create new bumps.  As far as I'm concerned, doing these things are fine, however you must be prepared to take criticism for it, as not everyone is as liberally minded as I am.

The mods you are talking about (above), fall into a different category, as they alter the handling of the vehicle.  These are a BIG nono, unless you clearly advertise their use.

hehe I was only kidding. Im pleased with all attempts to stoppie airgrabs. i haven't seen them yet so I can't judge. If its good ill congradulate him and if they are normal I'll tell him he gave a good effort. The only thing I hope is he didn't use a pizzaboy because come on. There are limites and well its kinda what im reconized for

Well I don’t think ZX needs to watch out, although the grinds were ok there not close to that of ZX’s ability IMO.

Well outside of the stunts where you spawned a packer to assist you in your stunts where a packer can’t get (without said spawner), I didn’t mind this vid. Sure… the editing was off and there was no synching to the song whatsoever but the stunts were pretty good.
 
Try to get your cam work smoother and start synching to the song and you will be releasing pretty kick ass vids in no time. The bigger thing though is to not spawn things in hard to get at places. If you can’t get them there without a spawner, I wouldn’t do the stunt. Just my thoughts.

i have better grinds in our upcoming VC crew vid, and about packer spawning on roofs: if its a good stunt why not try it?       and about shity syncing: i use WMM (  ) and if i edit the vid its ok for me, but if i render the thing moves out of place a littel bit so....i dont have a chance. And im not about fancy editing, im about doing stunts.

About doing stunts in difficult places as a start point: I don't have any problems with what kert's doing.  As long as the stunt is done well and executed in a good way then I won't be complaining about it.

I am playing devils advocate here but:

Don't you think that if the stunt cannot in anyway have been achieved in the VC version put out by R*, that it is not a stunt in VC.  It is a stunt in a modded VC.  And doesn't that defeat the purposes of achieving awesome stunts.

Finally....

Stunt without any spawner mods at all and tell me how long it takes to get all the necessary stunts for a video, and tell me how much more difficult it is,not to mention in some cases "impossible" because certain vehicles don't spawn in certain areas meaning alot of stunts today would either take a hell of alot of running back to a garage to fetch a PCJ, or not happen at all.

I don't use a spawner in VC. It takes just a bit longer to do stuff, but it depends on the stunt, and location. Packers on roofs is bad, but not always, cause some roofs are low and you can get a packer on them. The Ammunation roof is still controversial to me, cause I got a packer on that roof in MTA, but haven't yet in a regular game.
