Keep Your Friends Close
« on: March 15, 2019, 03:38:11 AM »
Hey guys!

Sadly, videos are being released less and less frequently as time moves forward but in an attempt to shake things up a little bit, I reached out to some people and organized my very first collab. I wanted it to have the 'Vice City vibe', hence the classic V-Rock song and the title - which is actually the name of the final mission of the game.

Huge thanks to SkilZ for editing it, you did a great job man! Also thanks to everybody who participated in the video!

Apologies to MehMet for not using his skin but SkilZ couldn't manage to get it to work.

Stunters:
Blaze, Fighter, Gavran, MaCi, Max, MehMet, MtS, Sheeptea, SkilZ, Skuller, The Big V, Turok, Vice Ninja, Xtramus, ZeRo

Editor:
SkilZ

Hope you enjoy!

Thanks man! :cc_detective: And I understand your point of view, but I wanted to organize at least 1 collab before I quit. About the stunts - this was never intended to be the video of the year, just kind of a homage to the older days where new videos were dropping like every other day :cc_detective:

I wasn't a fan of the editing, never liked the close ups, it makes the stunts less viewable, but overall it was okay.
Lost 1-2 spots, but I don't really care about it anymore, it was a lovely video.
ZeRo's pcj grind was a beauty, totally my taste, well done dude, and everyone who was in this, the fact that I could've land something for this makes me sad.
There's no such thing like quit stunting.  :euro:

What a pleasant surprise!
A great gesture by you Zero, good job keeping your friends close. I found this title very fitting, especially with your little explanation at the beginning. Also I was really happy to see (hear) a classic VC rock song again. Needless to say but it was my favourite one back then when I was playing VC day and night. But as much as I love the fact that this song was used, I felt the video lacked that atmosphere I kinda expected knowing what the song is. Still, it was enjoyable and you can never fail with a VC song  :P (however, I could've imagined Turn Up The Radio for this video, it might have worked better, but maybe it's just my music preferences)
The stunts were great overall, Zero stood out in my opinion, especially with that construction site ledgegrind in LV. Other standouts for me are Vice Ninja's first stunts, Mts' bushbump2prec, Maci's tricky grind and the finisher. I don't know how hard that is because the air you covered between the two roofs is not that big, but I totally loved this sequence stunt. Mehmet always delivers!
All in all a fresh video guys and it's good to see some big names getting together for one more video. Thanks for the experience and for the organization Zero!  :D

Cool video and glad to be in it! I particularly liked vice ninja's stuff like the ledge grind combos and am very happy that Zero landed to manage that stoppie 2 grind combo, I've had my eye on that for a while in a bit of a different way but I am happy that I no longer need to bother with that spot. Editing-wise the cam angles were a bit ehhhhh but other than that I liked it, classic song always works wonders too :)

Thanks for inviting me Zero, it would be fun if we could organize a few more collabs like this around here. Sadly I no longer have as much free time on my hands anymore but usually I can spare 1-2 stunts for a video so if anybody is planning to organize something let me know!
