How did you land it? because there are actually a lot of ways that this is possible.

ooh, that's so much easier that what i was trying lol. i thought the hedge didnt have a hitbox because i never hit it.

The Hakuchou isn't the best choice for these kind of small bumps, the Bati is much better at them .

i see everybody is using the bati,, but i am having trouble pulling a wheelie at max speed with the bati so i always use the hakuchu because i usually stunt med-high bumps
