Hahahaha epic topic Baseline. Hi, how you've been?

Of course everyone remembers you what are you talking about, you don't need to re-introduce yourself to these kids, just walk in like you own the place. I remember when you started as GangstaG, it was so long ago, and then we had so much laughs on msn.

Reynards, you've got it all backwards lad, when did I ever say anything about pleasure or pain, what are you smoking? You must've completely misunderstood my comment in the Arnax solo, which was an honest review of a friend's video and my first post in years. Get with the program, man.

It was just an indroduced and it goes into a controversial, It's just easy to say "Hi! welcome back!!!" or "Hi! I remember you in WH those modded stunt suck but it's good to see you back man!  :a-cheer:". The problems is some of you guys is negative, look ok Baseline has stopped his stunting carrier you still not happy? why? is this what GTAStunting like when a suck/not suck member is back? yow! be positive I am happy that this man is back because GTAS need some active member let just give Baseline some motivation what he want to do for!

and look baseline we are tons of tons of haters of you, but I don't mind it, It's hard eh, but damn man I happy, you suprised that you came back, your attitude now seems nice but again It's been a good time to see you back.

Rey might be right.

Guys need I remind you of cultural relativism. Fucking your super hot niece is perfectly fine in less developed countries like Romania. Just because it is frowned upon in your country does not mean it is wrong! I guess only students in good countries like the Netherlands are learned this (the cultural relativism part, not the fucking your super hot cousin-part). I feel like Baseline is misunderstood and just turned to modding because of the stressful atmosphere on this forum! He only did it for fun guys! That is what matters! People do not turn to modding because they are deplorable human beings, no of course not. They turn to modding because of the hostile culture on this forum made by people who do not think that stunting is fun but that it is an art-form. Prime examples of this are Arnax and DaredevilX. Stunting should not be about pain (art) but about pleasure (fun).
1. Incest isn't only a phenomenon that can be found in less developed countries like Romania but is also very widespread in developed countries like USA. Also consensual incest is legal in some EU countries.
2. I really don't care if Baseline or anyone else mods as long as he post his vids in modded section, but when he or anyone else tries to make a fool me then it becomes a problem.
3. I'm pretty much sure that Baseline is a self-aware being and the stressful atmosphere couldn't influence on him. He just likes to troll.
4. People turn to modding because they want to be "famous" overnight on game forum which is deplorable or they think it's funny to troll others. They don't want to practice. Before Taz's Watch This you could see development and progress of stunter. First solo, second solo... development of his stunting and his style. Now, random guy comes and release some epic shit and everyone applauds.
5. Me and DDX haven't created hostile culture on this forum but guys like you, miserable remnants of the past without authentic way of being who think they are smart and who think they can share criticism to everyone.
6. I have always thought that stunting is an art form, because it is a game within the game, something valuable that can not be found in other games. Creativity, imagination, ideas, methods, technique, effort... are necessary parts and preconditions of art. Just because this is a game and not the painting or song doesn't mean that it can't be regarded as an art form.
7. Art isn't only a pain, it's a pleasure, joy, fun and much more...

The only thing I could agree with you is about cultural relativism but as a solipsist I think that everyone should define his ethics or moral code for himself and not under the influence of culture or society.

If you answer I won't write anything else because I don't want to feed your inferiority complex. Your only goal is to provoke and cause conflicts here. I will leave you in your little box.

@Mati: Yes, I made a mistake.

It is also curious that you say that you want to leave me in my little box. It is you that is living in your own little box, Mr. solipsist.

I salute you Arnax and I salute you DDX, glad you’re both well being! Hai Illex!

About Reynolds, I dunno, he always gave me the impression of being a provocateur so I’ve always took his remarks with a grain of salt. Also, I hardly felt any disrespect or hate towards me from other folks in this thread. If anyone has a problem with my modding past (Rusch maybe), I obviously do not mind, for past is born in the present by zooming in onto wider diffuse aggregate experiences. Past actions are written down, passed on, analyzed, decked out, and adapted, all whilst focusing on their long migratory route into the present. Some people do not forget, other people tolerate. It’s how it has always been. Negative assertions aside, it honestly feels good to be back! :ninja:

The only thing that determined me to start modding was myself. Some people will go as far as comparing my stunting career to my real life persona, I find that to be jejune. The only reason why I modded some of my stunts was because I never truly cared about stunting as “Art”, as some of you did. Back then, I thought that the idea of manipulating the game's physics right under everyone’s eyes was a compelling thing to do. I have stumbled a couple of times, as GangstaG, but after changing my nickname to Baseline the future was looking great for me. I was even accepted into WH, right after they have released Onslaught. As a partial-modder, it made me proud that 99% of the relatively few modding accusations I had received back in my prime were plain wrong (ShadowSniper comes to mind).

Exactly. Those are some great remarks.

And of course, I am aware Reynard is talking out of his ass here. It irks me that this lad included my name in the relation to any kind of hostile environment that has arisen on these forums over the years, for I would love to be shown any examples where I was hostile or enforcing my "ideologies" to anyone, as funny as that sounds.

Stunt videos can be artistic but they don't have to be. They can also be humorous, dramatic or simply a slide show of clips. It all depends on the intention of the maker and how successful he is in communicating these elements.

In this way stunting in general could be considered an art, for it is a display of maker's imaginative and technical prowess, where stunting is the performance part and video making is visual and auditory part of the final product.

But, stunting will not be an art for us if we don't regard it as such as viewers, for we will not care or pay attention to composite details that would define it as such. In the same way stunting will not be art for us as makers if we don't have intentions behind it to make art.

Ultimately, arguing amongst ourselves whether to classify stunting as an art or not is a pointless exercise, and certainly does not relate to having fun while doing stunting, as Reynard suggests.

You were a partial-modder in the same way that one can only partially take you seriously. Welcome back!

I been a fan of SS since he was a modder (but I didn't notice) but I was just a simple stunter back in a days, I thougt those are the hardest stunt in SA but it was modded, no matter what It inspired me to do stunt and take me here. thanks to SS and other old stunters that gives motivate everyone.

I never gave a fuck if a bunch of 15 years olds took me seriously, for my ideology when it came down to stunting was: I.do.not.care. When people will stop applying the "stunting inside a game matters" rhetoric on me, then we will all be good pals. Judgmental nonsense of that veneer would probably work on people who regret their modding, I do not. Glad we cleared that out of the way for the 18th time this week.
