Which car from the lowriders dlc is the best for stunting?
« on: October 25, 2015, 10:05:50 PM »
Can anyone tell me which one would be the best one to spend my money on, speed and bumping wise, not sure if anyone has tested it yet.

The Faction has the lowest mass and best average vehicle statistics, with the second highest top speed of all the hydraulics vehicles. Buccaneer has the highest top speed and convertible visuals, but it's heavier than the Faction and has worse hydraulics. Primo has the same top speed as the Faction with the second best hydraulics in the game, but has slower acceleration and higher mass. Voodoo has the best hydraulics, but the second worst speed/mass, so it's only useful for very high bumps. Moonbeam is an awesome van, but doesn't compete with the hydraulics/speed/mass of the main vehicles (still worth purchasing for the unique handling and style). Don't use the Chino, it has no redeemable qualities versus the competition.

Purchase Prioritisation:

1. Faction
2. Voodoo
3. Moonbeam
4. Primo
5. Buccaneer
6. Chino

Every hydraulics vehicle is worth owning (minus the Chino), because they all have advantages which make them the best for certain kinds of stunts. That's why I ordered them by worth rather than by quality :).

Thanks

Just bought the Faction and the Vodoo, I'm gonna love stunting with these. Love car stunts, but with no gliding, this is right for me. Plus, a glitch in my ps4 caused every data being stored in my ps4 at that time to be erased, so im not gonna play the story mode a fourth time to buy cars and stunt with Franklin, glad i could hit my Summit stunt before that  :P

It's awesome to have a point of car stunting where special ability is irrelevant :P. I love special abilty car stunts, but it's nice that hydraulics force you to think on a more grounded level. I can only imagine an Adder with hydraulics as well as special ability, might have been Maze Bank time .

i'm doing more testing, but i think you ranked primo way too low. it's at least superior to the voodoo in my opinon.
there are more factors to consider than spreadsheet data can provide. i'm testing different situations now and i'll give a final opinion after.

i think, as vanilla stated, all are going to be usefull for different situations (save for the chino)
so a 1-5 list doesn't make sense to me at this point.

it's obvious the Faction is going to be the high flyer, but it requires long straight run ups, which not every spot is going to have.
i retested most of my spots from my Primo video and i definitely could have benefited on a few from switching cars, but others it didn't even stand a chance with the runup.

Primo responds really well with short run ups or run ups that require quick adjustment before the bump.

Moonbeam is a flying brick, but i like it for the challenge on some spots and it's easily my favorite vehicle with customizations.

still trying to find benefits of the Buccaneer, but i'm sure it has some. it's definitely not incapable of stunting

for now i'm having the most fun with
Primo, Moonbeam, Faction

I didn't rank the Primo lower :P. Like I said in my post, it's better in most situations. However, from the perspective of purchasing decisions in GTA Online, the Faction can do most of what the Primo can do, so you're better off purchasing vehicles that can give you something totally unique in the beginning until you can afford them all.

ahh sorry i misread the post.
i was testing the voodoo, but i just realized i have the cheapest hydraulics on it so i've been wasting my time.
