Really nice! I know a few people who lost spots, but I didn't personally. Huge finisher, that was cool.

I'm not one to talk, but something something director mode. However, I'm happy you're making the transition to race mode like me ;p. Some creative stunts, the pole shooting made me laugh.

Overall, pretty nice!

Can I see the full unedited clip of 2:56 please? Someone I know wants it

Yes ofcourse a few director stunts again but I'm just going to assume they were done without the anti-fall bug since there is nothing in here that would've made you bail anyway. Great stunting man, you keep getting better! The only downside for me personally is that you only use the hakouchu. Gets boring after a while. The finisher and the clocktower prec were very nice though! :D

i'm kinda confused as to why that fact is being glossed over and rationalized. there is no reason to use director mode ever.
the music was absolutely painful too.

Said it in every other video, can't change it as this point, especially given the proof he provided of no bailing avoidance, and the fact he plans to stop using it.

 :hmm: vanilla always knows what to say to get me rethinking.
while i appreciate the proof, i still stand by my hatred of director mode and having to provide proof of stunts, only re-enforces my belief that there is no reason to use it.
i will say, the BMX precisions in here are super awesome.
i'd love to see more of those.

That's just fucking stupid though.

There clearly is a reason - multi car stunts are made a thousand times easier using Szabo's Persistence Mod (to keep cars from despawning, and it keeps them in their exact position), and GU Mod to respawn at exact areas (for teleporting onto places where races normally can't, e.g the maze bank). It's also much much easier to find spots in director mode, because you don't have to go through the process of creating a race.

I've always just thought of it as Dannye's SCM mod, except with a anti-fall bug in it.

sorry, all of these "easier" PC methods are lost on me. console stunters have done fine without them up until now, and the fact that it brings legitimacy of a stunt into question, is reason enough to avoid it. i'd be more impressed if PC players where actually doing what they said the trainers are for, taking it further than you could on console. i've yet to see anyone on PC make good on this.

Well, there's a difference. Keeping cars from despawning is modding, the only reason it was allowed in VC/SA was that you could use missions to do this without cheating, and as such it wasn't completely looked down upon. You can do this in GTA V with two characters in single player, or use deathmatches and captures. Respawning at exact areas is 100% possible when setting up races. To do this, set up your grid checkpoint, set the next checkpoint above the spawn location, and use props to block the two additional checkpoint positions, then delete the props after making the checkpoint. Spots can be found very easily within content creator, just look for spots before making a race to stunt with.

As far as I'm concerned, the only excuse for using director mode is if you can't go online for some reason. But in that case, you have single player quick saving/loading, and other options that don't act like cheats. There's no logical purpose for director mode in stunting, and just like trainers, it only serves to call your stunts into question, even when you provide necessary proof, because it's shrouded in mystery. That's why we avoid director mode.

I like that there's a lot of diversity and creative ideas. I always watch your videos with interest, in contrast to the other v videos.
