It's been a long time since i played GTA4 on PC. i waited for so long and now it's finally here, stunting for GTA5 on PC.

I'm fairly new to stunting to GTA5 since i refused to play it on console.
Now i noticed that the mechanics in gta5 are quite different so i have some questions!

- what bikes are the best for stunting?
Ive seen that some bikes like a akuma are horrible for stunting on bumps since it can barely do a wheelie. I am now using the akuma fully modified and im quite happy. Are there some other bikes which are just as good or better that i dont know of?

- what cars are best for using a bumps?
Bumping off of cars seems very difficoult for me. In GTA4 it was fairly easy but i fail all the time when I try it in gta5. Is the infernus still good for this? I used the zentorno front and it worked sometimes but not too well. The Cheetah seemed to be working pretty well in the front. Which cars have a good bump on the side? any trucks for bumping?

 - whats up with this "gliding" thing? ive seen some videos and people seem to go waaaaay to far and high as i like to be honest. It seems like an easy exploit to land insane stunts. what are your guys' opinion about this?

- what are the very common bumps that you see everywhere?
Just like in gta4 there are common bumps that appear everywhere on the map. the best example of this are the highway guardrails which provide a fairly easy low wheelie bump. There are also some bushed that are also low bumps. Then there are the concrede gaurd rails as well, etc etc

If you guys are interested, here is my almost 5 year old gta4 montage. the quality is very bad though
( might be loud!) https://youtu.be/7GgTuYzjaFE?t=28s

here is my first stunt i ever landed in gta5 (im very proud of it actually ) https://gfycat.com/BiodegradableUnfinishedAmericanratsnake

Im sorry if this is against some kind of rules of self promoting or anything like that

anyways i would love to hear what the community here has to share since its my first time here!
byebye!

Hello there

You might want to head over to the V s ection and check out the first post in this topic: http://www.gtastunting.net/index.php?topic=64614.0
It contains a lot of information about bikes, cars and has a few tutorials on different techniques we use. I'll still try to answer your questions though.

- what bikes are the best for stunting?
The Bati and the Hakuchou seem to be the favorites at the moment. The ruffian is also pretty good. However those are for the most part best at bumping and speed, but from what I know other vehicles might work better if say you wanted to do a grind. I'm not too well familiar with that though. Vanilla might be able to give a better response than me  :P

- what cars are best for using a bumps?
Honestly don't know, look at some release videos, I've seen a few car bumps, but never done one myself. The only thing is that I don't think it's the Infernus.

- whats up with this "gliding" thing?
It's weird, but the short version is that when your bike is upside down it gets slightly pulled upwards, which allows you to get more air and airtime. It is however not an "easy exploit". It's just how the game works, and makes things a bit harder. Cause even if you get a perfect bump, you can still fuck up and not reach your landing if your glide isn't perfect. It might be weird at first, but once you get used to it, it's just another mechanic to keep in mind while stunting. Just like bumps and grinds.

- what are the very common bumps that you see everywhere?
Ledges or any other thing low enough to bump :P Can't say if one is more common than the other, I just see bumps

There is a 'quote' option on the upper right corner of his post which you can use to reply to someone  ;) Also, bumping off of vehicles is not as common as it was in IV. There packers were often placed behind bumps which is not the case here, certainly not stationary vehicles (apart from those pretty meeeh single player z-type bumps). Most of the stunts are natural stunts without any support, or multiplayer stunts were you bump a plane or a car at full speed. But if I were you I would just practise natural stunts, lets you get more familiar with the engine and possibilites. Stationary vehicle bumps are a bit 'meh' imo.
