Heyo!

It's me again in the 'help-me-with-my-garbage-ass-laptop-shit' mood.
As some of you know, I have got my laptop back after almost a year of being borked.
This is the laptop I've used to land all the stunts I have released previously.
But that's not the problem. The problem is my games (GTA, Minecraft) keep freezing and / or lagging.
They used to be fine. And I have no clue what I can change about this. Both games have minimal settings. Pretty much everything is low, off or minimal. But yet Minecraft lags like shit. And GTA SA, both SA:MP AND SP keep freezing every now and then.

If you have a suggestion which could be a solution, and is not difficult to do for someone with only dry grass in his head, I'd greatly appreciate that.

Also, please don't let me buy new shit. I have no life and no work. Meaning, no money. I'll get work later, but for now, I just need a solution. Maybe it's something with drivers or so. But I know 0/0 about that.

So, let me know if you have a suggestion I could try out to fix this. And I will love you forever.

What do you expect from a laptop, it's always with those cheaper ones, that one day they just somehow change and aren't as powerful as they used to be. If you wanna play games, buy a PC instead, laptops aren't for gaming, whatsoever.

I am aware of this, but it ran smooth in the past, so I don't know what happend that made it all laggy and such.

I do not. But like I said, I ran smooth in the past. Even without optifine installed. I will try to install this and hope it fixes the Minecraft issue. If it does, I still have the GTA freezing problem. Got anything for that?

Try uninstalling useless shit. Maybe your PC went full with crap and its slow because of that. Or maybe it's a virus that you're dealing with. Run Malware Bytes full scan and see if it gives any results.

I found a decent place to download Optifine as you suggested. But which one should I download?




Also, with 'useless crap' I am not sure what you're refering to.
This laptop is pretty empty and only has 1 page of installed stuff.



I am not sure what my laptop needs in order to do the things it used to do, so I don't take any risks with deleting stuff. At least not stuff what I'm not sure of.

Always download the newest version of OptiFine, unless it says something like Beta version or unstable.

Btw Rimano try some boosters (im using Game Booster 3) and check your process (ctrl+alt+del) my laptop isnt nothing extra and im on laptop more than on PC
