SA problem.
« on: August 11, 2014, 01:55:39 PM »
Hey guys.
I got some weird problems with my laptop I just bought.
It's an Acer Aspire V7:

Windows 8
Core i7 - 4500U @1,80 GHz
NVIDIA GT 750M

Guess it's Windows which is making SA really crap.
I only get about 50 fps no matter what settings i play at and well it lags.

Any suggestions?  :euro:

Got latest NVIDIA drivers?
Try setting the image settings to performance instead of quality in the NVIDIA control panel.

Tried this but nothing worked.

Don't put it in "power saving" mode.

Turn off v-sync in Nvidia Control.
If you don't know how, ask Google.
V-sync prevents the fps go over 60fps.

If not check if you turned the frameliter on, haha

I've heard there are FPS-issues with the Steam version.
It could be that in your case. The Steam version is not the
version for any gamer, really. If you don't have the Steam version,
try to find another version. I always use v. 1.0.
