Kwebbel, I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. If you KNOW something is old it doesn't hurt mentioning it, but if you actually found the stunt you are trying yourself it shouldn't matter. Of course some people are more "protective" of their spots than others, but there's nothing you can do at that point really. If you want to be really careful about it I guess you could ask around and see if anyone of your stunting friends know if it's old.

Just to clear this up, it's actually called "Ditching" and has been around for a while, just not overly used. It was used kind of differently in Vice City but it's still the same concept. Have a look:

That's already done Kwebbel, but if you found the spot on your own then its all good. There's this thing called "losing a spot" (though his was uploaded before yours)

When it comes to stunts it's fairly simple. It's only copying if you do the exact same stunt as somebody else. If you take the same ramp, and land on a different place (like with your example), that's not copying . It might be inspired by somebody elses original spot, but it's not the same as copying a stunt.

Taking a spot that's been done in one way and just changing the way it's landed (like jumping off your bike instead of landing on it) doesn't make it an original stunt, that's just a different take on the spot.

As for the latest "Hit a Stunt", the spot is old to OutLawPenguin, as he linked in the topic . But yeah, nobody can blame you if you didn't know .

That's the cancer of this new-age stunting, random guys that got a lot of subs recently and with the power of their views and subs claim stunting their own not knowing people have done it since a decade ago and discovered so much more than them. My god this guy is pure evil. If you distilled everything that is wrong with so called youtubers, you would get this fucking guy. Squealing and screaming worse than Pewdiepie, faux english accent worse than Daffy's, catering to an audience of 12-year olds, just terrible.

I won't catfight with you guys, but everything we need from a game is to have fun.

After a very long time here in this community, I know how important it is to land new stunts.
But there are still people who just have fun with simple stunts. And do not seek the challenge to find new spots.
GTAStunting.net got a big booming through the NU videos.

So do not fret, when there are people who landed your stunts and claim they were new. It could also be that your stunts are not new stunts. The stunting community has grown considerably in recent years. There are not any new and good stunters of the new generation here in the community. Therefore, an Asian (just an example) could have landed your stunts before.
