Does that function prevent vehicles from de-spawning or something? I never used it, is it really that important? Also, have you checked that your keyboard keys are assigned to the right functions?
Also doesn't the no bushes mod come installed with AllBeast's VC? If not I'll upload it when I get home in an hour unless someone else posts it before then.
In that case just copy the generic.txd from the models folder of AllBeasts VC into yours, that's what I did and it works.

^every spot is different, that's why on some spots you can take hughe ass run-ups without getting the car despawned and on some you can only move a few feets away before it dissapears. That's why it once worked for you but that has nothing to do with the remember function you just have to try it out how far you can get away from it before it disappears and try to land it..less is sometimes more
It isn't necessarily because your run up is super long (although it mostly happens when that is the case). It's part of how the game loads the map. It loads certain files at certain points. So if you go so far away you, say, unload the collision file of the road, the packer or whatever vehicle you use will fall through.Although if you actually remembered the car, the packer or whatever should re-spawn in a close proximity of where it fell down, like if you glitch yourself underground. It might also be as simple as you haven't remapped your keys. As in your memory it's specifically space + r while for me it's something else. Make sure you read the readme file and see what actions are mapped to what and see if it matches up. Don't do psms
