Hello S.T.A.L.K.E.R fans, well i'm very glad to announce this project that has been recently finished by dezowave who worked strictly hard on developing this fascinating project within 6 years which is a sequel of Shadow of Chernobyl.

Wow didn't know there was anything releated in progress, I was really into the STALKER series some years ago, played all of them and really enjoyed them. Gotta check out this even though I have a lot to work, thanks for posting dude!

6.8gb packed, but after you install it the folder is roughly 15gb.

There's already a few fixes out(click me), no idea if they fix anything serious, haven't played for long yet and didn't encounter any bugs, atleast nothing serious.


There's this one glitch where certain objects seem to be semi-transparent, like Sidorovich's chair, it somehow shows through Sidorovich's model, but seeing as this is based on the alpha from 2004 which was released in 2009, they did a pretty good job.

I have known about this stuff, and I like S.T.A.L.K.E.R aswell, but I never played through any of them. I played Shadow of Chernobyl when it came out, but stopped after like 2 hours for some reason, last time I played it was last summer, I started over, but had to stop when the first mutant/zombie/idk what the fuck these invisible things are. Actually, I went a little bit further, and met that shitter who made my ears fucking explode and pulled me to himself, that was the point where I stopped playing. Games with scary stuff like that just fucking kill me, and I hate this because I really like horror games, and they interest me as hell, but I just can't play through them because I am scared of getting a heartattack. (I am looking at you, Amnesia and Dead Space)

@Dom, I was like that too when I first played STALKER, tbh I still am, but I just try to still play it. The more times you get scared, it will become more "natural" to you. I used to almost piss my pants when I heared a bloodsucker or an controller, but nowadays I know that a few bullets in the head makes them easily shut up and they ain't really a harm either.

Amnesia, on the other hand, still creeps the fuck out of me, but that's because most times you don't know if there's really someone behind you or not...

my game crashed after killing the boars in order to get into The Duty territory, every time i want to access to that level, it crashes.. i'm waiting for an update!

I really wonder why it's 15gb... The textures look low-res as fuck, even on the highest setting. Same with the models.

Uninstalled it again, I'm keeping with vanilla Call of Pripyat.

Yup. There's this one mission CoP which I just won't do, I know it's nothing serious down there, just a controller, some dwarfs and a poltergeist, but the atmosphere at Lab X-8... Nope. Once and not again.
