Opinions on my first stunt.
« on: February 20, 2014, 08:02:52 AM »
Hey stunters!
I am really new to GTA stunting. I bought GTA 5 a week ago to try stunting out and I must say, I really enjoy it.
So yesterday I sat bored playing Kwebbelkop's race (ep10) and tried to hit my first ever stunt, so here it is.
Was really shocked because I think it is a good one!
My best stunt
Is boosters accepted in the community of GTA Stunting?
Peace  ;D

Boosters are accepted, but are really lame :P

About the stunt itself, well, I wouldn't describe it as a real stunt since you only do like 2xbump2 360. But still, try to land some buildings, some precisions, grinds, and all kind of stuff you could find.

Try to get that "feeling" about how good is a stunt. For example, just look at some older vids on SA and VC. It'll help you :P

Otherwise that was ok. I hate the use of boosts, ramps, and slowmo. But some people outside GTAS don't care at all.

Nice execution :). I agree with MxZ, but you know, here's what I'd do. Whenever you land something, look at it, and then think about what else you could do with the spot. For instance, if you had landed on the billboard after that 360 bump, that would have looked pretty damn cool. It's always better to land on something instead of the road (unless it's a really huge gap). Good luck, have fun stunting :euro:.

I could tell you were following Kwebbelkop just by the way you phrased a particular sentence.  :P Nobody here says that he 'hit' a stunt. It's something Kwebbelkop started and it sounds very unnatural to me. We usually say we 'landed' a stunt, which I find the more logical way.

I think the essential things have been said, boosters are allowed but nobody really likes them when they are not needed. It can make certain stunts really easy eventhough they will look better without. And yea, try to land on something.  :) Welcome btw!
