Dejv - Comeback
« on: October 10, 2013, 05:12:00 AM »

Hello Gtas  :euro:

Read before watching my solo ! :cc_detective:

1)After being inactive for more then 2 years i started to stunt in GTA V again  :ajaja: . Im not gonna stunt in any other GTAs because i dont enjoy stunting in it anymore. Im gonna focus on collabs /solos in GTA V for now only for xbox (i know we all waiting for PC :P ) .

2) I know there are not that many videos on GTA V yet so i wanted to release it quick. Also im not that good at editing so please dont expect some BeatĀ“s editing level :D also i recorded it with my Galaxy S3 phone i dont have HDPVR  :ajaja:

This video includes some slow-motion stunts

3) Ive read forums about the Slow-motion thing , and my opinion on it is - If GTA V is only on consoles for now i dont see any reaseon why not using it to precisly land stunts you enjoy to land and not spend hours or days in landing them on consoles (you know how hard is to stunt with controller right? ). Keep in mind we dont have any Dannies main nor Ghost Town or any other trainers (load position takes 1min to load your saved game)

In future on PC - I am against the slow-motion if we have trainers to load positions and ghost town cheats . If there is any replay like in SA , some people will use this ability anyway ( if it is not shown in the replay with effect like in game )  <_<

4) Please enjoy the video as i did landing those stunts and donĀ“t spam this topic with slow-motion thingy

This is what I consider the first real GTAV stunt-video, some very nice ideas including the gap using that round tank-thing and the doublebump to the mall which I've tried myself.
It's very possible without the slow-mo but the traffic for sure makes it a bitch.
Welcome back dude, I remember your solo that BeaT edited, oh and check this out... oink oink, wink wink http://www.gtastunting.net/index.php?topic=64620.0

That was better, first proper video without the use of slow-mo in every god damn stunt. Thought rewatching it I feel you didn't have to use it as much as you did. Still, props. Silly YouTube title though  :cc_detective:

I don't like how Gingait used the ability on 2:29, but that's the only real complaint I have because I already bailed that without it and it's not even hard to get a good bump from that rock. I land the building every 3-4 tries. Not sure about the stunt afterwards aswell I don't think it was necessary to use it there either. I mean I am fine with how Dejv used it on the enormous water+dome gap thing and that doublebump where he went around traffic but please don't use it for bumping as stunting on console with a controller is not hard at all.

Great video nonetheless. As Daffy said first real GTA V stunt video.

Kind of annoyed that you did the finisher with a first try double bump when I've landed it with a single all the way across, but not bad :P

I enjoyed it and it's confused me as to what can be done in the engine :P but I really don't see how the way you used the ability was different to hedgehogs, I'm quite confused about that.. (don't take over the topic, if anything we'll make a new topic to talk about it)

Thanks for the support :D I know some stunts can be done without the slowmo but its so annoying to crash into trees cars etc on xbox , where it takes u 5minutes to ride back to the run up or +1minute to load your saved position  . For sure on PC it will be different but come on its so hard to stunt without trainers  You remember the first videos in SA on PS2? You cant compare consoles to PC when it comes to stunting  :cc_detective:
The first stunt took me more then 2 hours to land even with slow-mo runup  and its by far the best stunt in the video   ;D

Kind of annoyed that you did the finisher with a first try double bump when I've landed it with a single all the way across, but not bad :P

I always bailed it with one bump (on left side, and also landed the top of the building but didnt recorded) the runup is the most annoying thing on it with no ghost town or load position . If theres load position in GTA V on xbox i wouldnt use any slow-mo  :euro:

Great video Dejv. The stunts were really great and with nice ideas. At least Gingait can't really mod stunts on console

Makes sense to use the slo-mo in traffic etc but you still seemed to over use it a bit, but maybe not as bad as others.

Nice video

I enjoyed this, even though you could have used the ability less.

In my opinion you will get more skilled in console stunting and start using the ability less, that's what I did, especially since the god mode cheat came out, I have re-landed some stunts that I previously used it on. This is not to try and prove anything but for my own satisfaction.

I feel the ability is great for dodging traffic, helping pull wheelies, going around corners for more speed, so that it makes the game less frustrating and opens up lots of impossible spots.
