First bike after 5 years.
« on: June 13, 2013, 08:01:28 AM »
So it's been a while since I've made a bike for GTA, I've had to redownload all the tools(and get them to work on windows 7 without being all bitchy) remember a shitload of methods, etc. And after a whole day of photoshop & running around doing stuff around the house, I finally came up with this.

It's a very basic design, and not really good, but this is just to help me get back in the groove =p

I was never really able to do anything nice with the engine so I just threw some random shit on it.

I can't remember the camera tool for VC so this will do.. Also if you're wondering where Tommy is.. I kinda had a little "mishap" with 3DSMax, and well.. He's invisible..

Impressive. Reminds me of Aries' bike.

Do you have any pictures if your old works ?

Yes that bike popped into my head while I was doing this lol.

Unfortunately no, I used to work on a desktop and I've been through about 1000 of those.. There may be some floating around the web but I'm not sure where. Imageshack and Photobucket come to mind but I can't think of a username.

It looks pretty good. Would look even better though if you softened up the metals/engine a bit, made the reflections more glossy and removed that tribal-looking thing on the top of the bike.

Heh yeah the reflection is actually a picture of the moon surrounded by some stars I found on google, it actually does the job really nice ingame(didn't turn out well in the screenshots). As for the tribal thing, I decided to leave that on there because I wanted to see just how well the texture mirrors on the gas tank.

The engine however, I'm too fickle to mess with that.. I hate the stock one but I can never seem to think of a nice way to edit it, so I just slapped on a few filters.

Looking good, but the texture on the metals should be smooth instead of rough, since the bike is shiny and you need something that looks smooth to blend in. Well done on the rest tho, keep them coming.

Speedo was just a couple circles and a plastic wrap filter. It's amazing what you can do with really simple stuff when you do it right lol.

Looking at the bike now, the engine kinda makes me sick, but if anyone wants the bike I'll push out the txd. I reckon even a newbie in photoshop could make a better engine than me sadly enough heh.. =/
