This will be "the" VN thread. Since not that many of us play visual novels (as far as I know) I figured we'd just keep it at one topic for now.
Before we get to it, there might still be people wondering what a visual novel is, so for that just simply read this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_novel

So yeah, some standard questions you could discuss as a starter.
Are you reading anything? Is there something you would recommend someone else? Do you need any help installing something or searching for translations?

I am "currently" reading Katawa Shojou, haven't actually read on it in a few months, but I still need to finish some arcs. I've read Emi, Hanako and I'm towards the end on Lilly.

I'd also like to recommend Saya no Uta, just because it's a fantastic story.

Yeah it kinda depends on what you want to read, but I've been having trouble with installing MaijKoi but I managed to grab the translations right away.

No but how's Lilly's route? I've heard people say it was amazing and I haven't read KS in like a year, so I've been thinking of firing it up again.

I freaking love Lilly's route, and I have no idea why I suddenly stopped reading it. It is the best one out of all the ones I have read, and I have a feeling the last two won't keep up. She has 3 sex scenes as well, and the last one is just so fucking cute and hot at the same time. You should fire it up, I used a walkthrough though. I noticed how fucking mad I got when I got the bad ending on Emi. Wouldn't want to go through that again lol.

When I got bad ending with Lilly, I was really sad... next day I started it again (with guide) and I went through it all without using the skip tool. I don't believe that any other girl in KS could surpass Lilly's loving nature.

^Yeah, agreed. I mostly wanna play the other two (Rin and Shizune) because I just wanna see how they play out. Also I've heard Shizune is one kinky mofo

Hanako's good ending achieved. I'm glad. It was fun, but it ended way too fast... now that I'm in the mood I guess I start another route, even today.

Hanako is sweet, sweet girl. I wish I could make her happy as well.
