You can get more run-up speed. For instance, where 70+ fps gives you steady 220+ km/h on that big road on the second island (which ends on that little hill with a bump from a middle section (slayer's firetruck bail)), my 35-42 fps gives me nothing more than 195 km/h max. On the airport where my fps is higher due to lack off objects I can reach 210. And it's just holding two buttons. Decreasing my FPS by putting the settings higher gives me even less speed. So it can be used as a excuse because that vader wheelie method doesn't work for me in the cities, only the airport
One of my stunts in Shellshocked was landed with 250-300 fps and I couldn't feel any difference
