VC lags
« on: December 13, 2012, 01:16:05 PM »
I have this weird problem with constant frame rate drops after updating my nVidia drivers last week. The FPS drops don't disappear when I change the resolution or the draw distance. The problem seems to appear only when I try to play VC, my other games are just fine. I tried to reinstall the drivers but it didn't work. The problem seems to get way worse when I'm talking on Skype, but it won't disappear if I turn off the program. Please halp, because I want to edit the collab I organised and I cant record with all those FPS drops.

Have you tried all the usual stuff? Compatibility settings, admin stuff things like that?

Sure, VC won't even start without all those things.

Try downgrading the drivers to the ones where everything worked fine.

System restore might do that, that is if you have saved 1.

I don't have one from last week, but I'll try to find older drivers and replace them. Thanks.
