Just a small question, my entry is pretty much done, but is it a requirement to include text (LFET round 1, mikeymouse's entry etc...) or can you just leave it as it is?

You do whatever you feel like.
Usually people put it in for aesthetic reasons, but it's not entirely necessary.

Both entries fulfilled what I expected from this challenge. Change of colors, pace, effects and so on.

MikeyMouse: It was quite powerful. I don't really like the song, but you did a nice job on the editing. The angles you chose to use were pretty good and I didn't really see any flaw on them. As for the effects, I'm afraid I didn't like the usage of a second video layer all the time. As Petar once told me, you don't have to add an effect to every beat on the song. As for the CC, colors, saturation were pretty good, but the exposure/glow was way too strong for my liking. Besides that, the synch was perfect, pan/crops were nicely done and the overall editing was pretty good.

Deather: I enjoyed your entry. I wasn't really fond of the song choice, but the editing was quite good, but please, do not over-use the same angle as you did. Record more angles if you have to. The corrections were good, synch was nice, but the effects and angles on the last stunt were bad-looking IMO. I'd work a little bit more on that stunt. Overall, pretty solid entry.

Hard to pick a competitor in this match, but I'm going to vote for Deather despite the flaws I stated above

Deather: The idea of switching between the CCs was a cool idea and themselves were fresh and generic. The camera angles were nicely done and you put a big concentration on them that was really nice sadly you showed the infernus only from one angle. The effects fitted well to the music's genre and video's atmosphere. The pan/crop was sharp and nice.

Mikeymouse: The intro was a bit long but it was better imo. Honestly I didn't like the CC it was bright and didn't look that good also the glow made it look a bit lame. The camera angles in some parts were low either close or far. The effects were awesome and fitted well to the music's beats but you kinda were powerful at putting them at each beat by using the pan/crop.

My vote goes to Deather. Despite some little flaws, good job both of you.

Mikey: Astonishing intro, loved almost everything about it, great colors, incredibly well depicted angles & appropriately placed texts & the colors of them, had a really promising start with such immense atmosphere. The only minor nitpick would be the overhead angle of the palm, looked kind of out of place & not so good. Didn't really like the transition, it was too much too early, the colors were way too bright & solid & the glow was simply out of place. You should've gone for a more subtle & fluent transition having the first set of pictures still be somewhat dark & then continuously becoming somewhat brighter (still not as bright as you had them, though). For the main part, again, the colors didn't really feel right, you should've put some more saturation in them, made them more contrasted & definitely somewhat darker as well as cut down on the glow. The editing itself was pretty solid, nothing extraordinary, but it did the trick. The angles were nice & represented the stunts quite well in their entirety, though some were a bit too close for my taste, they were all pretty solid & the freeplay angles were very well placed & seemed to flow nicely with the rest of the part. The flashes did feel a bit overlayed as opposed to being completely blended in as a part of the vid, but they did serve their purpose quite nicely, I liked the graduations of the intensities you used to somewhat alter the flashes. The rest was quite well executed, like the 2 layer effects & the overall pan/crop movements, though being a bit sporadic, did fit in nicely with the song.

Deather: Amazing work on those colors, especially on the intro, however I felt that a lot of parts didn't feel right to the music, they seemed a bit out of place. First off, the intro seemed way too plain as the music did suggest some minor synchronizing to take place, a few soft, slightly blurred dark flashes with a touch of pan crop would aid the mood immensely. The first stunt was done, for the most part, really well, I liked the glitch effects & the way you transitioned the colors. However, on the 2nd part of the first stunt it did feel a bit weak, it seemed that you had chosen the wrong beats to accentuate, while the stronger ones, having no visual reference to amplify them, made the composition seem weaker than it should've been. On the 2nd stunt, I feel that the flashes should've had some more vignette as well as a more complementary color, they were nicely placed, but felt lacking for some reason. I also didn't quite like the last angle you used. The transition to the 3rd stunt was quite strong & fit with the song. 3rd stunt suffers slightly from the same issue the first one had, you accentuated a lot of weak & also strong beats in this part, but you left some of them out, which made for a very odd, juxtapositional feeling, of having energy, while at the same time, being somewhat weaker than it should, the overall sync & choice of the effects was nice, just work on the way you choose what to sync & what to let alone.

Tough match, but I'll have to go with Deather, as I enjoyed his main part a lot more & I feel that he transitioned the pace of the song a lot more seamlessly.
