SV help pls

Indeed, Vegas is being an annoying dick again, what a surprise.. It's not rendering some effects, for example brightness and contrast or black n' white.

Also is there a fix for 'black screen' renders ? By that I mean a certain part of the render is completely black but the sound is still there, could it be my render settings or..?

I'm using Vegas 11 btw.

There is no way to fix the black screens. Everyone gets it and everyone, unfortunately, has to deal with it.

As for the main problem here, have you tried reinstalling yet or resetting your preferences/settings (ctrl + shift when starting Vegas if I recall correctly)? Otherwise, try downgrading to Vegas 8.
By far the best version, no fuckups, glitches, bugs or anything. The only downside to it is the compatibility it has with other versions.

Fixed the effect bug. I reset my preferences and also rendered with slightly different settings.

It's a shame there isn't a fix for the black screens, I get them so damn frequently ._.
