Just saying..

I didn't mean to offend you in any way. If I did, I apologize.

U can't really qualify a skin by it's working time tbf.
Seems like skinning a PCJ-body is way more complicated than a NRG-body :hmm:
Would love to have such a detailed metal for the NRG tho
Nah. Skinning a PCJ is way easier than skinning an NRG. You can fuck around on any part but the engine and it'll look good 60% of the time.

Have I said anything about you ? The discussion about Challenger was with Maggi, not you.

If you have some kind of eternal hatred for me then you can kindly fuck off because I have heard enough.

nah i don't use wallpapers. vermouth doesn't aswell. i just take 10-20 minutes of time making it. not that much,

still, cool bike PM

edit: dudes, chill. Please, it's not worth talking about it. and yes, Nrg skinning is harder than pcj skinning, the nrg parts are a pain in the ass.(no offence to PCJ skinners)

if only reaper does nrg's... He would shit on all of our bikes. His bikes inspire me alot. gives me some ideas.

It's not like any PCJ skinner would actually take any offense from that. It's the truth.

IN MY OPINION:

Slapping a bike together in the shortest time possible isn't an achievement or anything to be proud of, it just shows you're a lazy cunt tbh. I could throw a bike together in ten minutes however I would much rather spend a couple of hours making one bike that is exactly how I want it to be than create multiple mediocre bikes. Reaper didn't win Skinner of the Year by making bikes as quick as possible; he puts in a fuckload of effort and that's reflected in the bike's he produces. He is definitely one of the best skinner's to be on GTAS and is better than me by a longshot, if anything he makes me want to spend more time on projects.

Personally, I think it's great that Promagic spends ages on his bikes. I'd rather new skinners have an understanding of the textures themselves instead of rushing it. Pretty much every great skinner spends a long period of time creating skins (Took Reaper 5hours for Challenger, I remember Feron saying he takes six, etc) and you can see that from the detail in their bikes, and that's why they are regarded as the best skinners. Sure, bike's that are thrown together quickly can look good (some of Haywires iirc), however it is easy to tell when someone's decided "fuck it lets slap a bike together" and when someone has actually took time and put effort making a skin.

imo bikes are a representation of the person who made them. every skinner has their own style, and i would much rather be known as a guy who spends time on his bikes than a guy who does them in the quickest time possible.

Rather than bikes (not only bikes though, player skins as well) being representations of who made them, I think they represent the identity of who wears them because when one decides to stick with one for a couple of years it'll grow to that person as part of their identity in the stunting scene.

You are totally missing my point. My problem was that your comments indicated that a bike which has been made in a short time automatically looks crap and that's just not true.A bike which has been made in a short time can look great. And all this "this skin looks better than that one" is just bollocks.Skinning isn't a goddamn competition. If u like a skin more than another one is based on ur own personal taste.

I did not miss your point at all, I'm just saying that in most cases a bike that has had hours spent on it will look better than a quick job.

Taking your time also results better looking nrg's/Pcj's but still, some people have a way of making their styles fit in a short amount of time, while others have a different style and they need time for it to fit in. Reaper here, i don't know how much time it took him making my PCJ, but when i looked at it in game, it was pure art, i was blown away.

What it comes down to is your taste anyway. If I think a simple purple bike looks dope as fuck I could throw that together in 10 seconds. And it would be the best looking bike in my eyes.  Sure most people would want to have a detailed bike that looks good to them, and most of them would therefor enjoy a bike that has been spent hours on.
But there is no better or worse in this situation, it's just taste.
