BLAZES TUTORIAL ON GHOST BIKES:
TOOLS NEEDED:
TXD WORKSHOP
ADOBE PHOTOSHOP
MICROSOFT PAINT
1. To make it easier for yourself, create some folders. Mine are like so:
2. Open TXD workshop, make sure alpha is enabled on every texture in the pcj600.txd APART from the pcj600speca. Make sure compression is disabled.
3. Export all texture's as PNG's to the "Original" folder.
4. Open MS Paint
5. Open each file from the "Original" folder, go to File > Save As, choose 24-bit Bitmap and save them into the "Bitmaps folder."
6. Copy all of the Bitmaps into the Alpha folder.
7. Clear the image, and fill with grey! The darker the grey, the less transparent, and the lighter the grey, the more transparent the bike is.
DO THIS FOR EVERY FILE IN THE ALPHA FOLDER, AND SAVE THEM AS A 16 COLOR BITMAP!
PLEASE NOTE: WHEN DOING WHEELS THAT ARE CUSTOM YOU WILL HAVE TO EDIT YOUR ALPHA ACCORDINGLY, IT WOULD BE BETTER TO DO THIS IN PHOTOSHOP AND THEN OPEN THE FILE IN PAINT AND RESAVE IT. IF YOU DO NOT DO THE WHEELS PROPERLY YOU WILL END UP WITH WHITE PARTS AS SEEN ON THE ORANGE BIKE
PIC RELATED (DEFAULT WHEEL ALPHA THAT WORKS):
8. Reimport your textures, then click the Alpha tab and import the grey alphas.
9. Hit the fuck out of save, close TXD workshop and open the TXD again. If the Alphas are still grey, congratulations. If not, you fucked up. If you did it right, it should look like this (the small texture icons are darker):
Now customize your Alphas to show more detail and whatnot, and don't overuse ghost bikes; some look sick (Stormlexer, Plethzorb) and some look like shit. good luck!
