No. Turn your Graphics down ingame as low as possible and turn any advanced settings off.

I have done all that and it makes no difference at all. I think it has to do with the pagefile but ive even defragged the drive that its on to no avail. Ah well, just have to hope we get an area that it doesnt slowdown on.

do control-alt-del and close down anything you don't need, you can also put the priority for San Andreas up, since you won't need anything else.

Having traffic will be interesting cos ive noticed in some cases getting a packer to stay put can be a hassle, oh well packer free stunts for me

Ah hell, I got potentially bad news - computer access will be unreliable in the next few days as my sister is coming and I don't know whether I will get on even for 5 minutes, never mind enough time to see my challenge, try to do whatever and so on. Stupid little things...
