The first one was super fun, but it got way too hectic and boring towards the end, some people just LOVE that but thats not me. But I'll sure try this one even though I liked mercer as the protagonist way more 
Heller isn't all that bad, really. But Mercer is just so much better. Even though you want to kill him, he gives you the virus and even teaches you how to use it. He's too kind. But you're right about the end becoming boring, there was simply nothing amusing left to do.
i am *cough* purchased it as well and i am downloading it right now, does it have co-op ?
They say it has multiplayer which I didn't see in the menu, but I doubt it has co-op.
Yeah, I got it 2 days ago. I don't understand why Activision had Mercer turned into the dark side but still he's more badass than in the previous game. I also loved the new tendrils mutation which is awesome. This is a must-have game imo

They had Mercer turn to the dark side because he's basically just the virus which resurrected him. There's no reason for him to be on the good side anymore, since NYZ went to complete infected shit. It was also a nice chance to introduce a new protagonist. I wonder how the end'll turn out.
