Seems like he's pushing too much there, forcing himself to almost suffocate.
Maybe it's a bad set with a poor sound isolation & he's trying to compensate for not hearing his own voice, a lot of people make that mistake.
It is better though, that I agree with, but this song in particular kinda sucks, if you ask me
