Yeah i guess so  well you could give it a crack if you'd like, you've helped me out a lot with my own personal editing so I don't see why you couldn't try out some cinematics on IV, and 30fps is pretty much perfect for me,  my capture records at 30fps and I always render at that level so it will be even with the rest of the video. First things first gotta think of an idea, then gotta create an intro for that idea, find music, stunters, you know the score, and it's all gotta be done by the end of May  . Think i'll be spending tomorrow coming up with some ideas and testing some things out on IV.

if youre thinking about edit for that video (beats edit for example) it will not look good because
1) quality
2) no good cam angles
in my opinion all console stunt videos look good in clean edit, but with some good edit.. naah

UltraBenBuja has already done numerous GTAIV stunt montages, and he makes stuff for machinima.com. The best way to give GTA stunting (not the forum, the pursuit) any kind of longevity would be to group all game stunting (car related, at least) into one community. I know that there are groups that stunt in games like Just Cause and Saints Row. GTA Stunting (again, the pursuit and not the forum) probably has too limited a fan base to warrant attention (or affiliation) with machinima.com, in my opinion.

Having said that, if you wanna give it a go with them, knock yourself out - it can't hurt and the worst they can say is no.

in reply to doki, I was planning on doing a mixture, me and matt stunt on the ps3, so during that section of the montage the edit would have to be clean, maybe the odd flash effect beat synced with the song, but camera angles are impossible, but anyone here who is looking to guest to show machinima what they're made of, I'll be in contact with determined to get some cam angles needed
and to  kaneda I have a friend who stunts on just cause, I can contact him for a few on there if need be, but I think instead of accepting that there is already someone who does stunting videos for them (although they are shit) he should be challenged, and I think machinima are the sort of channel who like challenges, they have numerous mine craft, call of duty videos which all compete for the most views, I just think no one has posted a video to them worthy of competing with Ben buja

Wow really? Damn this is getting increasingly difficult to decide wether to make it a GTA IV stunt montage, or a stunt montage in general. Hmm i'll decide at a later date

I don't think an inter-game stunt montage would be a good idea. Both games discussed (GTA IV and JC2) are too different aesthetically to just shove them together in the same vid. You'd either have to do two separate vids, or split the content into two parts in one vid.

Once again, I don't stunt in either game (I don't even have either game on the PC), so all I can offer is advice - which I wouldn't take as gospel. I don't know enough about machinima to give any real insight into their though processes, but your enthusiasm for the idea is enough for you to at least give it a go.
