Bright Skies
Exrers solo edited by me
Exrer - BRIGHT SKIES
This is the project I've been working on in the last time. Exrers solo "Bright Skies" in SA.
I didnt want it to be edited like in most of my shortclips, so everyone can clearly see all the stunts and footage.

I'm sorry to say this, but you should stick to your overediting style, because your angles are horrible & it really shows when the footage is exposed in such a bland fashion as it is there. I'm not trying to be mean or pretentious, I'm just saying that it ruins the whole viewing experience having to look at full length choppy, uninspired & lazy angles. It disrupts the whole feel of the vid & it loses its initial professional taste.
Some of the angles throughout 1:49 - 2:22, whilst still really choppy, were well oriented & situated, they didn't seem as bland as most of the others, you should really strive for something along the lines of those, but I'd suggest working on your smoothness primarily, even going as far as investing in a new mouse & mousepad to improve the stability, 'cause it really strikes a dent in the production as a whole.
Overall it was decently put together, the CC was far too bright & monotonous (dusty) for my taste, the flow was really fitting & pan/crop movements were mostly very spot on, though seemed a bit unlinear at times, the ray effects looked pretty good, but seemed unnecessary at some points, the sync was good & well picked & the effects were overall blended in really neatly, not making anything stand out too much & giving a vid a smooth flow & a fitting atmosphere. The song was bland, which did make the vid not stand out & be memorable in any way, but sometimes it's best to play safe than & give a decent performance than it is reaching out be artificially dynamic & making a mess of it in the end.
I really didn't pay any attention to the stunts, dunno if it's my mood, or something with the placing/showcasing of them, but they just seemed way too bland & generic for me to pay attention to, sorry

^ say what u want about the angles, there are ppl who think they are nice and some say they are bad
& I never had any overediting style, just a rockstyle with more effects and harder pancrop, but no motivation to edit a whole movie like it
btw @Grylek HAHAHHAH tell me what I have posted wrong BEFORE? Nothing, all my shortclips are in the Editing-test section and the few solos/collabs whatever I have produced we're 100% correctly now stfu

They are choppy no matter if they're good or bad & that is the biggest problem with them, you need to make them very smooth if you want to achieve good quality with the rest of the vid. It just looks like an epileptic from Cloverfield filmed this & did it in a really bad way.

it is because 30 fps + pancrop at "linear", for example watch "afterlife - before I decay" , I used "smooth" for pancrop there

Enjoyed it.
Finisher looked weird to me, and some stunts were already released, but those watergaps were cool and i liked the other stuff too.
Valu, I enjoyed this edit, good job!
