It's a sig specifically related to Australia, I don't see what's so wrong with the stars of the flag.

they doesn't go along with the rest of the sig, it looks wrong, and would be much better without them.

The problem is not that they're there, the problem is that they look really bad. The shapes are really fugly, the color blending & opacity are way off, the scaling & positioning seem really out of place & don't accentuate them in any manner, making them seem almost as an intentional eye-sore rather than an enhancement that is a part of the sig as a whole, the pattern is also very irregular & unfitting to the sig itself. If you put some actual effort into them, you could've made them more subtle/fitting & less ugly & I'm pretty sure no one would even notice or complain about them if you did.

Other than that, pretty cool sig, love the colors & the focus
