I'm surprised there hasn't been a topic about this one yet. Post your favorite thing of the games! I used to be like "my pokemon are ready" when I went against the elite four and this song started playing.

Pokemon Gold and Silver - Lance & Red Battle Theme (music)

Everything else about the games is obviously cool too, but this is one of the things I personally love the most.

Never had a gameboy, but my cousin did. Whenever our families would do vacations together (which was up to several times a year) we played soo much pokemon. Good times

Played every single Pokemon generation from Blue/Red to Black/White. I absolutely love these games and finished them all countless of times. A friend of mine recently digged out his old Gameboy and old Pokemon cartridges and got me hooked as well. Both our internal batteries for Silver were depleted so we went extra nerd mode and replaced them.

Hmmm, my favorite was Fire Red, god I used to play it day and night. Still have it and I still check out my pokemons whenever I feel nostalgic. I also played Emerald, which was also good, but let's face it - the old generation pokemons are sooo much better than the new generation ones.

Yeah. It's nice getting new generations every few series but the old ones will always be the pokemon which you will remember first.

Speaking of Emerald, my brother once caught Rayquaza with just one pokeball, lol.

I personally really like the first 3 generations, so my favorite games are Leaf Green, Sapphire, and Gold. I also bought two more Gameboy Advances which I play those on, which is fun as hell.
