The specs are good. I would choose a different video card but that is just me. Also good choice on the RAM. 8GB is not even a lot. Look at the people who get 32GB of it.

Pretty much people with complexes, who feel the need to compensate in other ways. There's no point of going beyond 4 gb, most modern games/progs/w/e don't use more than 4 gb max, if they use more, then it's probably just vram & not regular memory, so that's pointless.

Hmh, looks like you prefer some more quality video cards, but I bet this is just fine for me at least being in my first computer.

I see a lot of difference between an AMD and Intel both of my laptops.

Are they competitive models?
I mean, you could might as well be talking about a century old AMD celeron & a brand new i7 8mb sandy bridge with unlocked hyperthreading.

You do need to go above 4gb and even above 8gb for rendering complex lengthy stuff using 3D Software or After Effects.

Also this:
AMD cpu? No, just no :c Intel ALLTHEWAY
AMD > Intel

Also, awesome PC you got there.

If AMD their self dont want to compete against Intel anymore, you know they are no way better than intel when it comes to CPU's, but since you are not really doing any massive gaming AMD is fine for you, not to mention that its cheaper than intel, but still the Faildozer FX-4100 isnt that good, you probably want to go with a Phenom II X4 just to avoid that upgrade in years to come, and ofc to avoid bottle necking with your graphics card, and your card is great for running the latest game, just change the CPU and you are ready to go, AND make sure your powerspply has enough juice for your components
