You only need a somewhat decent CPU to watch in 720p, I'm sure you're not that poor so go download some already.

Yes I would do that, but my internet isn't that fast.

Otherwise, I'll buy some DVDs.  :cheernutz:

Your connection doesn't matter, as long as you can get it within 1-2 hours it's fine (I can get anything within 3 minutes because I'm so awesome).

Also, fuck DVDs, go for BDs.

Nice boat.

Other than that, nothing special. Loved the Samurai X OVA, don't know if you are talking about the OVA or TV. Or both.

Get the newest KMPlayer and right click on the video and select superfast mode (or ALT+F) and it should handle 720p on old computers too.

If not, get Splash player, that's another movie player that uses very low CPU resources.

Basically, anything but VLC and WMP.

School Days (My Favorite)
How was it? I've had it on my Plan To Watch list for a long time now but never bothered to download it.

Buy me a good computer then I'll watch anime a bunch.
What you need is MPC-HC using LAV decoding. Proven to be the most efficient decoder there is for now. And a renderer that don't use a lot of resources. I suggest you follow this guide: http://haruhichan.com/wpblog/?p=205

Use VMR-9 renderer instead of madVR like the guide suggest if you don't have a good computer, so you don't have to bother with the madVR part. EVR Custom is also a good option.
The 10-bit playback is just something that comes along with the best decoder.

I highly recommend this over other players like VLC, WMP, KMplayer and PotPlayer.
If you are on OS X or Linux. Just use Mplayer2.

I picked up 11 series this season. My favorites so far are Space Brothers and Fate/Zero, also looking forward to Jormungand. Here is the PV for people who is interested: Jormungand | ヨルムンガンド - PV

I was not the first person who watched anime who came to this site. There were many, many others before me. Sadly they all left.

Also just watched the first episode of Haiyore! Nyaruko-san, it's pretty cool. I love how Nyaruko is so hyperactive and adorable at the same time, you just want to hug her and never let go.
The story doesn't really make much sense (expecting something more "structured" later on) but it's very entertaining.
