Tony Hawk games were a major factor in my childhood. I remember getting thps2 for Nintendo 64 right when it came out. THUG had such a good story. oh, and I beat every game just like cooper.

now I play ea skate :ninja:

Been playing it as well as skating irl since age of 6 & I'm fucking 19 now
I have a lot of catching up to do now that I have a new pc, my old one couldn't even run P8, so the last installment I got to play was Wasteland, which had an amazing atmosphere imo.

Well I played through all of them atleast once (well till THAW)  but not with all gaps and stuff because that takes ages.  I still think THUG2 is the best of them all the story is just so awesome and doesn't make fucking sense at the same time. There's always something in each part that was awesome but they forgot to convert to the next part.

I liked the minigames and individual challenges for each character in THPS4, the car driving in THUG (eventhough the physics sucked like hell  :cc_detective: ) And the wide range of levels and parkour in THUG2 aswell. And in THAW I digged the BMX much but the game was hella bugged, the coop classic mode kept me and my friend pretty busy.

And the first 3 THPS had IMO the best levels. I love how they reinplemented all of them eventually in the later Tony Hawks.

Now I just hate that they tried to make the game so reastlic that it's actually unrealistic (like GTA IV) and I never actually got around to play anything upwards THAW.

Oh the childhood memories :') I remember we could spend hours just skating for fun and making up weird games in multiplayer and stuff :D

Also Bam Magera's Shopping Cart Challenge is still the BEST CHALLENGE EVER.

ALSO ALL TONY HAWK GAMES HAVE THE BEST SOUNDTRACKS OF ALL GAMES EVER :3!

Imo the best one ever was THPS4. All the challenges had such variety and the game was extremely fun. THPS HD looks promising but idk.

Yeah, probably the games of my childhood  :ffvsielj3: After THUG2 every TH game sucked. And the only game I haven't played is THUG...I couldn't find it anywhere...

Agreed. THPS2 was the pinnacle of skateboarding games and none have come close. The level design was great, the music was awesome and the challenges were...well...challenging. Also it's one of the few THPS games that categorised gap lists into trick types. When the fuck did they decide to do away with that?

Most of them had some kind of appeal, but for the most part it was simply opening up a new area to skate in. THPS2 kept me playing over and over - and I spent countless hours looking for the last 2 gaps on the list. I still remember Venice like the back of my hand.

I've only played post-THUG games in the series, but I was hooked on them when I was younger :D. THUG1/THUG2 were the main two games I played on my PS2 back in the day, was always making maps/playing online and stuff. Both great games. THAW was cool but it didn't hook me as much as Underground did, and I played Project 8 for a month or so but it got boring fast.

THPS is probably my favorite game that I ever played in my N64.

I only played THPS, THPS 2 (completed both, I still play 2 sometimes) and THPS 3 (my friend has it, we play it multiplayer :P). Never went past them to play all of those you mentioned.

And yeah, the sountrack is great, I love the songs in THPS, but the N64 version for the 2nd one has a shitty soundtrack  -.- (only shortened versions of 5 songs lol)

THPS , THPS 2 and THUG/THUG 2 are the best imo. After American Wasteland = Huge piece of shit.

I guess this might interest some people then

"THPSHD is a "best of" Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 & 2, featuring characters, levels and music featured in those games (along with some new features, including HD graphics). Here is a screen-shot comparison.â€

Personally I think I have most of them up to project 8. I recently replayed Underground, which is my favorite. These games were the games I constantly played when I was bored before skate/stunting came around :P
