The semi-circular arch in the middle of the bubble looks like an eye and makes it seem like a weird cyclops. The fading colors are great and add something trippy. :D

I've been at a wedding recently too.

I have a friend who requested I gather some photos for use on an album cover, taking advantage of the red soil in my region.

And also some shots for fun. I haven't been out shooting in months.

You can follow my photo tumblr here: www.horizon-eye.tumblr.com

And like my friend's band page here. Like and share his songs if you can, he plays some great stuff: https://www.facebook.com/entertheredvoid/?fref=ts

I'd go with the first one Jason. It has a great balance, interesting patterns and shapes. Blue tones for the water would add a nice contrast I think.
That's without knowing what kind of music they produce tho, but I just think it has the most potential for a cover out of the ones shown.
Just in case, a black & white version would work with almost any type of music.

@waNEr: Our media design professor mentioned we shouldn't be too afraid of image noise, since it can be easily reduced in post. Most likely it won't even be that noticeable, depending on the final used image resolution/print size.
He ended up being right in my opinion, correct focus and exposure time have a higher value. My widest aperture is 3,5, so you can't expect flawless interior shots of individuals from me with my gear.

I've just been at another wedding this weekend. I'll probably post some new pictures during the next week. :P

I don't really know what it is, but it appears to me that the first two ones are missing something.
It might be a facial expression or a more exciting posture. Did you aim for a dreamy or even insensate feel with these?

I love the structural detail in the 3rd picture and it's strong impact. However, I wish the clouds to the left had more detail and weren't that overexposed.

The long time exposure is exactly my taste. Great composition, colors (cold/warm) and sharpness there.

Warmhearted impressions from that other wedding:

the first 2 are supposed to be kind of dreamy/fantasy theme and the expressions are meant this way, and yup the clouds next to the tower are a bit overexposed but it seems it worked though.
