You could always get a used Canon Powershot SX30 for less than 300 dollars, it's not a professional camera but it has a lot of the features and settings most DSLR's have plus really good quality for that prize and it's a nice introduction to DSLR's before you invest a lot in a semi-pro one.

Love the water or what it is in draguN's one. Tailor's pic is awesome because of those sick clouds.
