Nice to see someone's still pushing the original dubstep sound around here. Gone balls deep in post-dubstep/future garage/whatever scene myself, cranking out some of my own productions. Landed a place at University of Brighton and University of London to study music :>

I'll drop this on you though - bought tickets for Bloc Weekend:

Lineup (please ignore Snoop Dogg, fuck knows why they got him):

Also bought a few nice vinyls recently:

Coki - Burnin' HD

Scuba - Tracers - Triangulation

Boddika & Joy O - Mercy

Zomby - Digital Fauna HD

Actress - Lost

burial - loner

Mosca - Square One VIP

Kuedo - Truth flood

Julio Bashmore - Battle For Middle You

Thanks :P Most of those are fairly big names outside of the UK too, should be plenty on them.

SBTRKT - HOLD ON (SISI BAKBAK RMX)

Peverelist - Roll With The Punches

STL - Dark Energy

Ramadanman - Tempest

[mindset008] SYNKRO - Look At Yourself

Unquote - Metro Dreaming

Roska - Squark - Rinse

Haha yeah, best sounds out there. So glad the crowd was all about DMZ as well, the whole vibe was just as I expected.

That lineup is sick btw, would have loved to go there myself. Have you seen the lineup for Outlook Festival? Me and some mates are planning to go there, probably the sickest bass event I have ever seen.

and nice tunes you posted there, Battle for Middle You gives me so much good memories of last summer. :P

here's some of my favorite tunes from the DMZ party:
26 Basslines - Benga

Loefah- Disko Rekah (HQ)

obviously:
Skream - Vacillate (Untitled/DMZ Sunday)

when Coki hit the decks, you know it's gonna go crazy:
Digital Mystikz - Horrid Henry

Joker killed it when he mixed this with some other tune and then mixed that with Tap Ho (not really DMZ vibes but I guess that's why he was last to play the decks :P):
Hudson Mohawke- Cbat

the rest is all a vague blur of deep heavy meditational basslines :>

Absolutely. Friend of mine plays bass for Gentlemans Dub Club, so will certainly try and make the trip. Only problem is I'm not sure of my uni timetable for next year, so don't want to book tickets yet. Dimensions looks incredible too, and a bit more aimed at techno, which is good for me.

People hate certain sounds, which a lot of dubstep fans don't like either. It's a really diverse genre so giving it shit because you think Skrillex = dubstep is absolutely ridiculous.

@Christian: a fan of the Circus sounds eh? Not really my favorite but still fun nonetheless. This is probably my favorite Cookie track:
