Prepare to receive shit man. People hate this, that's why the dubstep community has a low profile here..
LOL, bitches come at me.

I don't mind people listening/producing that stuff. Genres evolve all the time, if they didn't we'd still all be listening to the same African tribal songs, over and over again. I just don't really enjoy it.

Now. Some more. The scene here is moving slightly towards juke/footwork. Or atleast hybrids involving footwork. Headhunter picked up on that when he made the switch to Addison Groove, and that sound is slowly gaining presence on the more underground dancefloors. The likes of Pearson Sound, Girl Unit, u-ziq, Joy O, Ramadanman, DJ Rashad, etc - all making marks right now.

Appeblim and Peverelist - Circling [1080p HD]

Addison Groove - Bad Things

Ramadanman - Grab Somebody

Boddika & Joy O - Swims

People hate certain sounds, which a lot of dubstep fans don't like either. It's a really diverse genre so giving it shit because you think Skrillex = dubstep is absolutely ridiculous.

@Christian: a fan of the Circus sounds eh? Not really my favorite but still fun nonetheless. This is probably my favorite Cookie track:
Cookie Monsta - Bubble Trouble
Well Circus Records are pretty amazing (Flux, Dr. P, Roksonix, as you mentioned - Cookie Monsta {which is releasing EP on 2nd april}) but what I love the most of the Circus crew is... Funtcase. That last clip prooves it. Otherwise if I have to choose between labels (for dubstep) I'll go with Rottun.

Still stuck in teenage angst? Why not listen to Tool. We'll satisfy your craving for droning misery and self-pity. Whilst you're at it, why not develop a narcissism complex rendering you incapable to consider opinions that didn't spew from your own asshole.

TL;DR - Get fucked.

Oh and yes, this is music. Vocals kinda suck but the guitar riffs are awesome.
I still ask myself why people like this

more than this

(wacken 2010)
Well people are different  ;) but i actually like some drumnbass/dubstep songs:

B-Complex - Beautiful Lies (No Podcast)

Mt Eden Dubstep (HD) - Beautiful Lies

Placebo - Meds (Cube Remix)

To be honest i dont know if any of these songs is considered as "dubstep" (i really dont know the difference)  :euro:

Julio Bashmore - Battle For Middle You
Didn't see you posted this one, tune of the year for me.

btw someone should edit the title Bass thread instead of dubstep, so we can get more complimentary genres in here as well

N-Type played in my hometown the night before DMZ, was crazy as well.

Because of the energy, the vibe, the people around who like you for being different, the whole freakin' expirience and mostly - have you ever heard an open-air speakers in a hall?
Btw, this a dub stage

Yeah, we have the Outlook festival here in Croatia too. It's a British festival as far as I know, and they found a great place on our coasts. My friend goes there every year since it was first organized, which was about 3 or 4 years ago. Age restriction is 18+ though, which is a good thing if you ask me.
Here's a video from Croatia:

It's goddamn mad!
Here's this years event: http://www.last.fm/festival/2077137+Outlook+Festival+2012
I wish I could go :(
