Anyone following this season? I've been up all night watching Montreal - Toronto, Rangers - Blackhawks and Canucks - Calgary. The teams I root for are the Canucks, Lightnings, Rangers and a little Red Wings. If I had to pick one it'd be Canucks because of the Sedins. They're from my hometown. Victor Hedman too, that's why I cheer for multiple teams

I don't especially root for any team but I follow teams that have a finns in their roster. Especially interesting this year will be:
- Dallas Star's because of Jokipakka in the defence and Niemi and Lehtonen as goal keepers.
- San Jose Sharks because of the JJJ-line: Jonas Donskoi (finnish rookie), Joe Pavelski and Joe Thornton.
- Florida Panthers because of Jussi Jokinen and Alexander Barkov who's going to play in a line with Jaromir Jagr and Huberdeau, if i'm not mistaken.
- Nashville Predators because Pekka Rinne is a beast.
- Chicago Blackhawks because of Teuvo Teräväinen in a line with Hossa and Toews.
- Minnesota Wild cuz of Mikael Granlund, Erik Haula and Mikko Koivu.
- St. Louis Blues because of Jori Lehterä.

Might check some of Boston Bruins' matches because of Tuukka Rask and Detroit Red Wings' matches cuz of Teemu Pulkkinen.

I might've forgot some but these mainly.

Haven't seen any games yet but I wanted to comment on last years playoffs...really good series took place. NHL's finals were pretty much better than the NBA at the time and that's usually not the case in my opinion.

Being Canadian myself I'm a huge fan of the toronto maple leafs, they're bad I know, but they are finally going in the right direction with a rebuild!

Ye love to watch Florida atm since there's a young Finnish player kicking ass atm and jager is amazing to still play at that level.

I would like to see somebody in the eastern conference win it this year. Washington has the best chance I think. I wouldn't mind it if Florida won it though! As far as the western conference goes, San Jose Sharks are my second favourite team so I hope they can finally show up in the playoffs!
