i did something like this on a stunt map ones too but never did anything with it.... 

remember trying it for hour's... need a lot of luck

to be honest i never liked grabs at all until you came to the pictures (for me)

Did you saw Kaneda's grab in Velocity Mehmet, that was some sick stuff too. Still the best grab ever imo and really hard to top, way before Sorcery.

About your stunt man, simply great. Too bad a map mod is needed to do that
