i can tell you that you can find on ebay even better and cheaper and new too ;p
hmm the shitty thing is that it only haz 2,8ghz ;/Keep looking Ed!Don't go like "OMFGZ AWESOME TAKE TAKE"and then you see "Fuck that one was better >:C"happened to me ALOT of times on ebay You have to browse carefully ;p
Don't buy a premade pc, they will generally have shitty cost-cutting parts inside them that wont do you any good in the long run. You could build a fairly decent PC for 400 quid, what'll be its primary use?
Something like this will be good enough to run the stuff you need. An i5 or i7 would beat the 2100 on video editing, but you'd be paying £200+ for a cpu like that. This i3 will handle pretty much anything you throw at it, and the 6850 can cope at 1920x1080 just fine.Part list permalink / Part price breakdown by merchantCPU: Intel Core i3-2100 3.1GHz Dual-Core Processor (£89.00 @ Amazon UK) Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H61M-S2-B3 Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard (£41.53 @ Scan.co.uk) Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (£29.99 @ Ebuyer) Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£65.98 @ Scan.co.uk) Video Card: HIS Radeon HD 6850 1GB Video Card (£111.49 @ Ebuyer) Case: Cooler Master Elite 335 Upgraded ATX Mid Tower Case (£32.38 @ Scan.co.uk) Power Supply: Corsair 430W ATX12V Power Supply (£34.81 @ Ebuyer) Total: £405.18(Prices include shipping and discounts when available.)(Generated 2012-01-03 18:12 GMT+0000)
Haha no worries. I'm just north of London at the moment, in Hertfordshire. But my parents live in Essex so I may be around there some time . Also, Intel are releasing their new Ivybridge processors around March, and prices will be a bit lower then too, so hit me up nearer the time and I'll see what we can do.
