Yeah, pretty much agree on what Ltab said. Most people simply can't figure things out on their own, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they should remain in ignorance, they need to ask and you should help them if you want a stronger community, but then again that is a matter of your personal attitude towards other people. I agree with both sides of the argument. People ask a lot about coding and stuff like that, and I'm happy to help out when I can. But I also do so hoping that person will be able to branch out on their own and discover a lot of stuff the way I had to.

I don't remember asking anyone about editing, but I did ask at gtaforums about coding. The person I was in regular contact with helped me immensely with that, so I basically adopted his approach. It's a community, after all.
