GTAS 10 years anniversary?

Honestly... when I created this topic, I was thinking of something way more symbolic... because thats the best way to celebrate a community that lived for 10 years.

What did you have in mind beat? I like the idea of showing the progression of stunting through a video, from its earliest days, to the present day, that way everyone can get involved and feel like their contributing to the story. For example the 'newbies' here, including me , can land some of the easier, original stunts which were landed on the early gta's, and then the video can progress as time progresses, into the more advanced stunts which we can see around today and in the last couple of years, which can be landed by the veterans of this forum. IMO I think that's the best way to celebrate 10 years of a community, teach the new ones some of the old, and the old ones and can show some of the new.

I'd quite like to see Daffy be involved in editing as well if he has the time.

I personally feel we should get as many reps as we can from the biggest and best vids as we can. I luckily have a few replays that some may struggle to otherwise obtain - Xtramus' huge dockside PSM to crane (can't mind which vid but it was quite an epic stunt), every finallight replay from the angelic voices operation (a few gems in there), couple of random Samurai reps from (I think) TOAS, the rep names are a bit weird lol so not checked, as well as a couple of reps by Daffy. I have these reps cos originally I was gonna try to make a big epic 'best of' vid ages ago (well I think back in January 2010), but my natural lethargy got the better of me. Also got a fair few TMS replays, including stuff by that weird Estonian Kert. Also in my posession is some very old-school SA PS2 videos - anyone familiar with 'Event Horizon', 'Overload' and 'San Andreas Mega Stunting'?

This video needs to have SA and VC in it. It can be two videos seperately, but this community has been built and grown because of the efforts of everyone in both these games. GTAIV was, and still is if I'm correct, not as big a plaything for stunters as VC and SA are, it's not really exploded like the VC and SA booms.

Btw, if you guys think about hiring ONE editor for such a project, I think it's a big mistake cause one man couldn't handle all the stuff at once. I suggest we pick 2 or 3 guys and make 2 or 3 different vid, that way it'll show some kind of variety and a true definition of what we do. We should look at the big picture, one video will only give a little idea of what we're capable of.

+1, videos like this can bring out some new talent in the field, instead of relying on the usuals and creating an epic fantastic crazy video which would be amazing as a collab at any other time, we can create a community video, dosn't have to be incredible in quality, just has to feel like an acomplished video where people from all backgrounds new and old can actualy participate. I wonna see some IV editing from you as well determined .

Should all be in one video. Plus, GTA V is coming out October as I heard. So how about we all take a fucking long time doing our hard work on this one? Just like the video which inspired me "Breath Of A Nation". If you watched it, you'd realize how long it took (About 7-8 months I think).
