Don't tell me you'll buy it ? DLCs are an aberration, paying for something that should have been in the original game just pisses me off, I never bought any and never will. Games are already fucking expensive, and now you have to pay double for almost every game in order to have a finished product.

Agreed with Darkyy, money is killing the video game business. If this doesn't bring anything but a few vehicles from an old game for that price it's a fucking joke.

I guess you will. Of course you don't but billion of people does, therefore each game is starting to get DLCs, even DLCs announced before the game itself is released and sold 3 weeks later...

I'll get it for free anyway, fuck the haters :euro: I can't wait for this.

Also for those who doesn't know: 4 New maps, 10+ new weapons, new game modes and more than 6 new vehicles. As well as challenges and awards.

Saying DLC is something that was originally intended to be in the full game is complete bullcrap. These are all old maps and they were never intended to be in Battlefield 3, but due to the existence of DLC they now can be. Not that I care though, I get it for free because of Limited Edition which I bought for the same prize as normal.

and Daffy is right, why complain about something that is there? It's like complaining about something which is free but you are not satisfied with. You don't HAVE to use it.

When DLCs are announced before release they could easily be included in the game, and not sold as extras to earn even more money on the backs' players.

Paying for recycled maps is normal ? It should be downloadable for free on the stores, like it is for people who have the limited edition or whatever who should have gotten something else, like a bargain or a special something in their game.

I don't get how you can accept such thing, consumerism at it's best, it's like paying for those Street Fighter suits hahaha what a joke.

Sorry for hijacking your topic lilj by the way.

It came out two months later than the game and you're saying it could have been included? BF3 needed to be pushed back as it is with all the bugs, there's no way they could have included it at launch. There's nothing wrong with DLC, people need to get used to it because it's not going away. If you have issue with the price of them then all you have to do is vote with your wallet. The amount of people buying DLC shows that most people don't really care, why do you want to change everyone's mind? In fact don't answer that, I can't be arsed :P

Seeing as DLC mainly consists of the fastest cars and the best weapons, they're basically 50% of the game. Agree 110% with Darky, it's incredibly annoying

I agree some DLC is rather stupid, but I think map packs like these are perfectly fine for DLC.

I don't get the whole "I payed for this game and in order to let me have fun with it for a longer time the developers should give me new maps for freeeeeeeeee" idea that a lot of people seem to have. I agree with Genyus, some DLC's are ridicolous, but new maps will definitely satisfy the customers and frankly let them have even more fun in a game for a longer period of time.
People aren't going to buy the same game twice, so what else should developers do to get a maximum profit out of a game? I'm just happy as long as EA don't make us pay a monthly fee, really.

Besides, arguments like "DLC's are ruining gaming" are invalid since expansion packs have been made for games for as long as I can remember.

Well atleast they have more content in DLC's for Battlefield. In Call of Duty it's like 5 maps in a single DLC which costs 10-15€..

Acquire Valve games, disregard paying for DLC.

That's EA to you :euro:!
