On Marked I tried working with markers for the first time (hence the name of the vid Marked  ) & they're not really my thing, I'm more of a cut at beat guy, seems more comfy for me.

Again, no plug-ins for either CC's, 'cause I'm pretentious like that

The beginning part is where I had to create the camera shakes by hand, so every marker refers to a movement in the camera, there's probably a few hundred in that 20 second section  .

Hmmm I actually can't remember  maybe I just done a quick run through placing markers every time I heard a beat, so I guess I automatically put markers through the intro as well.

But what's the purpose of them

To mark areas of interest in the song you're working with.
Like beats, or interesting sounds that you want to do something with, they work as reminders for what you had intended to do should you leave the project & come back to it after a couple of days.
