Battlefield 3 Beta

Heads up guys, the Battlefield 3 public beta launches tomorrow. Anyone can join in. I've been playing the beta the past few days. The map that the beta comes with is absolute shit imo. It's basically just a Bad Company map. Caspian Border on the other hand, a map that's locked away behind no-so-secret passworded servers, is amazing.  It feels almost like I'm playing BF2 with an amazing graphics overhaul. DICE made a stupid decision not making this the actual beta map.

tl;dr:
BF3 is amazing, just don't mind the shit default map DICE chose because it's not a true representation of the game.

From what I've watched the map looks fairly balanced. Gonna download it for my 360 tomorrow after work.

Played both maps and I love the game it's awesome . The only thing is that right now it's very buggy, it's got no ingame server browser and there needs to be some extra balancing towards attackers when playing the rush. It's an improvement on the alpha but not by much as far as balance goes. The current password for capsian border is 'Appletini'.

I don't really think Caspian Border as the default beta map would have been a great choice, in fact I won't play it. Because that'd literally spoil the game's awesomeness but with bugs, which would make me very upset. I already played the Operation Metro map in the Alpha and I think its awesome but like AJ says, its almost a BC2 map but it being like that actually makes it better for me because I'm a huge BC2 fan, anywho I hope they fixed the alpha issues and improved performance (which was good already but better is.. well its better  ).

Just played a few matches, but I still need a cable to play xbox on my PC screen. My TV is absolute shit  Love the map though (metro)

Trying to get to play the second map but all the fucking servers are full.

E: Also, I get why people like this with team. You can pretty much dominate if your whole team is a bunch of your friends who know how to play the game. But when playing with randoms I feel it's kind of slow, but it's A LOT faster than bad company 2. It's a good improvement

I only tested it to see how it would run on my computer because I want to have a real releaseparty when I get it. I maxed it out completely with 30 - 50 fps.
