where is the LIKE - Button ?
You are the new generation. Back in the day people just edited videos and that was that, no crew-based elitism involved.

To me it seems we only get a couple of overedited videos with a very strange order of stunts.
If everybody would edit their own videos we'd get to see a much better flow of stunts (because you know what stunts were hard and such). This would be much better than the videos we see nowadays, were it is not the stunts that do the talking but the amount of effects used does.

People have to find their own way, if you apply that logic to stunting then you're basically saying no one should start stunting, only people that are good at it already should.I'm not against someone getting someone else to edit their video, but I don't see how editing crews are at all important in that process. It just seems like another thing people like to be apart of so they can brag about it.
