Furious, your entry really looks fast, messy and unfinished.the glow loooks weird aswell,and is placed pretty bad.

Darkstar, looks like you just cut out the picture and added some saddows, but it looks allright.

There is no criteries what's right and what's wrong.
on yours good thing was that you used drop shadow, it always makes texts to look better.
For Furious was the reflect shinny thingie, only could've been made a bit better

Furious: It would've been MUCH better if that glow was on the letters only.

Darkstar: Not sure if you used a custom pattern or used a sample image and just cut it out. Either way, good job.

Bottom line, my vote goes to Darkstar.

Darkstar's one look kinda strage to me. Would fit as a video tag, for example - if it was brighter. It has a drop shadow which gave it some depth, props for that, but in another hand, it seemed to be a pattern from something if you get what I mean. Looks like you downloaded an image and use a mask to make the text fit.

+Depth due to that drop shadow
+Font helped your idea to work just fine

-Seemed a patter as mentioned before
-Missed some inner brightness in this
(Could've been done) Use some bleeding options with multi-layer stuff to something more pleasant, I'd say.

Furious' seemed rushed and not finished to me. The purple tone you chose fitted that font perfectly, althought, that glowish pattern you used there kinda ruinned it. You could've masked it out to make it fit more decently and used some stripped replacement instead of that brighty thing.

(Could've been done) Used a second tone of purple and use a stripe replacement there to enhance your tag.
