When i take photos i don't look for exact scenes, i look for shots that have potential. shots that when the magic of beautiful film or wondrous  long exposures transform the image as i see it, into a alternate reality of infinite beauty.

a lot of the time when i am taking photos and think i have a awesome shot, the perfect scene, i get the roll developed or i upload them to my pc , i am slightly disappointed in that particular frame,

i find my best photos, the ones that really convey what i am feeling, are the impromptu shots, the ones taken one the fly, the ones where i just 'go with the flow'

the post processing is just as much part of the 'magic' as the shooting

for example, the first photos was taken just as karla jumped into the water, i shot it completely on the fly without looking down the viewfinder. a snapshot of sorts.

and the Polaroid. i took this while drunk  as fuck at a bonfire party of a girl there. oddly enough the film was black and white, but i was sitting so close to the fire that it had a odd, yet beautiful effect on the emulsion. completely  situational
