bumppppp

Just seen Method Man & Redman yesterday and man that shit was awesome. Pretty much everything I wished for and more, these guys bring energy. They came on stage way too late so it started off a bit slow but it didn't take long before everyone was jumping up and down. Best part is the whole show they bring starting off with some new but quickly moving on to the old school which we all love so much. A lot of homages to dead rappers, especially ODB which gave a great vibe as well. Crowd knew all the words and you could see that gave Method & Red more energy as well. These guys kept it old skool as fuck, and it was awesome.

The only negative I can think off was this new guy who was with them and was allowed to perform a few songs to give him some hype and stuff, didn't really distract that much but it was still obvious marketing. All in all it was one of the most epic hip hop performances I've seen though

(these guys are fucking hilarious on stage btw)

The  "new guy" must have been either Ready Roc or Streetlife, don't tell me you never heard of them. I wouldn't say it was obvious marketing nor a negative aspect, it's good for them to give a lift to new artists. They aren't that new though - Ready Roc has had tight relations with Redman for some time now and the same goes for Streetlife and Method Man :)
And now, I demand video clips.

Oh yeah, I saw Alix Perez yesterday. The dude is SICK, he has great mixing skills and his song selection is just dope.

Haha you are right man, and I know they are good mates and obviously it's a good lift which I definitely appreciate, it just felt kinda off in the whole Method & Red show with them coming in between to do their own stuff sometimes. I guess I kinda used the wrong words, it's not as if I thought bad of it it's just that at some times it felt kinda unfitting. (then at times it was fitting again so it was all good)

I'll try to get some nice clips of my friend who got a few good shots I think. ;)
