I really want to try this one too!
I loved the series with Air Combat and Ace Combat (1,2,3), i remember the coop mode playing with my brother on PS1, it was awesome.
On this one, the third person view looks really great but yeah, for some reason it feels better in BF3 (i know it's not the same kind of game at all but it's kinda comparable).
Also, the phases where you're in a helicopter don't seem cool. They just look like what we've always seen in FPS's like BF or CoD, firing with a heavy machine gun...
But the action seems omipresent.
